This story comes from the Daily Star dated 8/31/2023

According to the headline ‘Bigfoot footage’ taken by fisherman on riverbank could be ‘unknown giant monkey’ The footage in question was shot last year on a river in San Benito, TX. As I cannot seem to find the original footage, I cannot remark on the commentary of the fishermen. The story goes like this:

2 guys are fishing on a river in San Benito, Tx

An unknown creature is captured on one of their cameras (presumably a phone).

The creature is on the far bank of the river bent over or crouched presumably drinking.

Cameraman: “What the f***, is that a dog or what?”

The creature stands on its hind legs.

Cameraman: “Holy s***, I got that on video.”

Fisherman 2: “What the f*** was that dude?”

Creature runs away and is lost in the foliage.

What is this creature you might wonder? Well, some first said sasquatch, but then others said dogman. Unfortunately, it is not high enough resolution to make a determination. And the two fishermen to date have not been identifies according to the Daily Star.

A clip of the footage can be seen on Kreep Town’s YouTube page. The clip is 5 seconds and appears to have originated from TikTok.

Verdict: Inconclusive
