I hope the holidays have been pleasant for everyone. This past semester has been the the busiest I have ever had with work and being on the road for work so I apologize for the scarcity of posts and episodes. As 2024 begins I plan on changing the format of the podcast and do more subject centered episodes and shift the news to short form update videos.

Anyway, an update on what I have been working on. I toured the Saint Simon’s Light House which I know has activity because I experienced it as a teen. Unfortunately I did not experience anything or detect any anomalies. That was around Thanksgiving.

Currently, I am doing a paranormal survey of the Altamaha River in search of the Altamaha-ha, Darien’s legendary sea serpent/river monster. I have not actually been able to get onto the river due to the water temp as I left my wetsuit in NC, but I have spent many hours watching the river and talking to locals. I am working on a database of sightings. The Altamaha-ha or Altie colloquially, has been recounted in a handful of sources, but the amount of information is not very deep as there are only about 20 sightings that have been well documented. This survey will be ongoing until about August when I hope to publish the results here if nowhere else.

I hope you have a great 2024 and here is to all of our friends and family. Cheers!
